Cat people.

There's this idea that people who love cats are sad, lonely, weird people. I ask you, what is up with that?! I mean, you see it everywhere: in the movies, casual conversations, when you first meet a guy and it turns out he's a "dog person" ... Seriously, let's talk about this.

Cats are intelligent, selfish and have a very strong personal opinion - if you want them to come to you, but they don't want to, you can call them over until you turn blue - it's just not gonna happen.
Now clarification, for you dogpeople out there: the reason why the cat doesn't come is not that the cat is stupid, quite the contrary - believe me, she understood, she just doesn't care about carrying out your orders.
The fact that the dog does come over, does not make him intelligent - it is called conditioning. If you have never heard of it, look up Pavlov and you will find that you can get anything with legs and ears to do this.
General conception is that catpeople get a cat to keep them company (since they're so lonely and all). What? You mean that dogpeople get a dog 'cause they hate company?? Dogs you have to walk several times a day, give a lot more attention ... they even make cloths for them for crying out loud (and there are actually people who buy them!! - how's that for sad). Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against dogs, but enough already with the whining about catpeople!! I think I made my case here.
Spread the word!
