Well guys, I'm officially against Kentucky Fried Chicken...
Yesterday we ordered a couple of menus for take away - to make a long story short, I found something majorly disgusting in my french fries (which - for the record, should be called, Belgian fries :p), don't even wanna tell you what it was!
Funny thing is, as I just started in food retail (oh yeah, I found a job at Subway as a senior) I've just watched this whole film on food safety and personal hygiene and cross-contamination. But seriously, it was quite clear that this item shouldn't have been in there even without an education, quite a no-brainer (which probably caused it). Sooo, I've sent a hearty complaint e-mail, and we all know how much Customer Services care about complaints ;), but I figured 1) they might actually show their staff their dvd again (lol) and 2) for you who know Sam - we all know that nothing will keep him from going to his beloved KFC, so I'd feel better if they train their staff again and maybe send us some discount vouchers or something. Needless to say, I ll never eat KFC again, found it disgusting in the first place anyway.
Talking of which, why the hell is McDo official "Restaurant" of the Olympic Games?? That's even worse than having cigarette magnats sponsoring the F1...
So far for the rant... feel better now :)
Here everything is well, aside from fastfood. Per tutti voi a Milano: if you want to feel like you live in a dayspa, or just had a 600 euro skintreatment - come to Australia! After 3 years of the Milan smog my skin looks like it has never looked before! (Haha, I sound like a commercial). Seriously, only now I realise how poluted the place was.
Next WE we're going down to the coast in New South Wales, so that will be nice. For Juan and co, I ll try to make some pics of the goldbikini parkingmeter girls ;). Talking of which, if you thought Milan was bad - Australian girls are so extremely skinny and trained (with the odd exception), f'ing hell! I mean, compared to them Mag or my niece Caroline look fat (which obviously they're not!) Hmmm, no more icecream for me!
Some time ago we went to a koala sanctuary (see pics on the blog and on facebook). They're sooo cute and soft! Only their nails aren't... :) Hmmm, what else, I finally got the hang of looking the right side of the street when I cross a street. I still haven't smoked (cry cry). Ah, e l'Italiano gia sta peggiorando di brutto!! Dovremmo mandare dei e-mail in Italiano a partire da adesso...
Hope all is well with you people, send me some e-mails to let me know.
love, j.
